About ZFA

  • As an independent organization, the ZFA represents all franchisees and every franchise member has a board representative in their district.
  • The ZFA will cooperatively advocate on behalf of all ZFA members. Some potential examples include outside legal review of all contracts and agreements (including vendors), FDD and franchise agreements. The organization works to establish best practices, gather and preserve the ancestral knowledge-base and institutional memory.
  • The ZFA will create a committee structure dedicated to specific initiatives such as marketing, operations, technology, etc. Committees would report back to the association’s board of directors and collaborate with the franchisor.
  • Forum for franchisees to easily network and share best practices via association communication vehicles (emails, newsletters, publications, association meetings, etc.).
  • Negotiate preferred pricing on programs and services (examples include insurance, benefits, etc.)
  • Provide educational programs and services
